Church Organ

At the turn of the century the church's electronic organ finally hit its last note, and the congregation had to face the music, or rather lack of music.

A committee brought back several options, and fortunately had found an opportunity to obtain a classic, non-electronic pipe organ.

With guidance from Mr. David Stull, Waterford organist and master tuner, the church examined the feasibility of purchasing, installing and maintaining such a versatile instrument.

A fund-raising project was formed and pushed ahead, and now our church resonates with marvelous organ music.

Live Nativity

For years Asbury UMC of Waterford has presented a live nativity to the community.

Music Ministry

The Asbury Music Ministry consists of the Chancel Choir and the Bell Choir. The Chancel Choir sings at the 10:00 AM Worship Service from mid-September until mid-June. The Chancel Choir also does special music for Maundy Thursday, Palm Sunday, Easter, Christmas at Asbury and Christmas Eve. The Chancel Choir has rehearsal on Thursday evenings at 6:30.

The Asbury Bell Choir performs September through May. The Bell Choir has rehearsal on Monday evenings at 6:30 pm. They also do a special performance at the 11:00 pm Christmas Eve Service.
